Today Wednesday we have the first round of the course in the Austrian Museum for Folklore completed.

The next meeting will continue on 24/10/2007. Until then, three texts are read: Gudrun M. König, barbed wire: the analysis of material culture and the principle of the thing significance; Hermann Heidrich, from aesthetics to contextuality: material culture research; Museum of Folk Culture in Württemberg, catalog, 13 Things. Form functional significance;
originals are in the Institute and Museum.

The blog serves as a communication tool for the seminar, but is open plan. To the registered participants was made via e-mail the password to contribute postings.
